So I was toying with the idea of a 'General Introduction to Penghu' post which would obviously start with: 'The Penghu Islands or Pescadores are an archipelago of 90 islands and islets...' But even as I wrote it in my head during my daily dip in the ocean, I got bored. Chances are if you're reading this you've already visited the Wikipedia and tourist board websites with the facts and stats. They're much higher on the google search than me. Sniff. So I'll skip the boring stuff and launch straight into the thing you really need to know about Penghu.
Let me level with you right away. Penghu has the best beaches in Taiwan, and certainly some of the best beaches in eastern Asia.
